RamKeeper is a battery backup solution, which maintains RAM contents between power off and power on. This card was used quite extensively by BBS operators throughout the US.
RAM Keeper supports both 256K and 1 MEG chips, and can support up to two IIgs memory cards simultaneously. It reduces power strain to the internal IIgs power supply, uses more dependable Gel-Cells instead of Ni-Cad batteries, and provides about 6 hours of back-up time. An optional SlotMover was available
