Super Desktop Expander and the newer A2/A3 Expander are enhancement programs for AppleWorks 2.0, 2.1, and 3.0. They add to the features of AppleWorks allowing more records in the database and more lines in the word processor, and adding the ability to time and date stamp AppleWorks files, and by providing an easy way to save large files onto several disks.
The AE AppleWorks 3 Expander was not needed for AppleWorks 3, and actually conflicted with the Beagle Bros TimeOut add-ons. All of the features (except the print buffer) were built in to AppleWorks 3, 4, and 5.
Diagnostics were also a part of these disks and tested: GS-RAM, Ramworks I-III, Z-RAM, RamFactor, and PC Transporter.
