TransWarp II

This is the second generation accelerator card for the Apple //e, at twice the speed of the TransWarp (more than 7 MHz). It offered complete slot configurability via DIP switches and speed control via both DIP switches and software. Very few of these cards were produced, making the demand for them even higher.

TransWarp III was supposed to be the TransWarp II's replacement after that product's abrupt discontinuation, but was never released. Some believe that images in advertisements announcing the TransWarp III were mock-ups and that the product never existed. The ads touted faster speeds of 8 MHz and 12 MHz, full DMA compatibility, and easy upgradeability when faster 65c02 microprocessors became available.
